DEXIS CariVu™ offers a new way of discovering caries (cavities) and cracks. Using safe, near-infrared light, CariVu allows us to accurately detect dental caries and cracks that may not be visible on digital dental x-rays or visual examinations. This non radio logical device is especially helpful in evaluating recurrent dental caries that may be developing under older, corroding amalgam restorations.
